Hey All, As I'm sure most of you are aware, Chrome 45 hit on Sept. Because of this, i've been trying different browsers for the Web Client and have been having some major issues. I've tried the certificate remove and re-add for CIP in intermediate trusts and ensured the functions were all checked that needed to be. No go, doesn't work. I'm at a loss here. I can't manage my VMware environment with any other browser and Chrome worked just beautifully without having to do all this other crap to get it to work until the 42 and up versions where you had to enable NPAPI and now just 45 breaks everything. Does anyone have any advice on how to get this working 100% within one browser and not have to co-exist with thick client and 2 browsers to get complete functionality back. It isn't a reasonable answer to put in their KB to go back to using the vCenter Client. They pushed us to the Web Client which isn't horrible by any means in 6. Edit of the Edit of the Original Post: Opera is the best browser for me to use with the VMware Web Client. I didn't have to reinstall the Client Integration Plugin but I did have to reinstall the VMware Remote Console VMRC to get it to work with Firefox... Now Opera not only opens the login page properly the first time but it also allows all the other CIP functions from the browser and the VMRC links work flawlessly now too. I recommend the Opera browser to anyone who's having issues getting the VMware Web Client and CIP working properly in the other browsers. Just install and go with each piece Opera, CIP and VMRC.
